Welcome Jimmy to the Platinum Helicopters Team

Hello,

We would like to welcome Jimmy W. to our Platinum Helicopters team. He has been flying for us for a few months now, but we are just finding time to officially welcome him! Please read a little bit about Jimmy and how he got into flying helicopters:

“My first experience with helicopters began when I was watching my brother’s football game as a kid. There was a bad car accident on the highway close to the field.  The game was stopped and the field was cleared so a medevac helicopter could land and transport the injured person to the hospital.

Ever since that day I have always enjoyed aviation but it wasn’t until years later that I went for an introductory flight to see what it was all about. After the flight I knew that this was what I wanted to do.  I went to a few flight schools in the area and worked hard to receive my private license at Nassau Helicopters. However, it was not until I started my instrument rating with Platinum Helicopters that I really felt at home. I continued my training with Platinum and received my commercial and CFI with them. I am happy to be a part of the Platinum team and hope to bring the same great experiences I’ve had to everyone I fly with.”
